Druries
Situated next to Old Schools and opposite The Head Master's. Druries was established in the 1790's as Harrow's first large boarding house.
Druries recieved its name in honour of its second and third House Masters, Henry and Ben Drury. They ran the House between 1806 to 1863.
Old Drurieans inlcude former British Prime Ministers Lord Palmerston and Robert Peel, cricketers Nick Compton and Gary Ballance; and James Bond, the ornithologist, after whom Ian Fleming names his famous spy.
